Scriptures to remember His Gentleness and Grace

 

In a world that is constantly bombarding us with chaos, wars, teaching us to hate ourselves, and filling our hearts with sadness, now more than ever should we dive into the word. Having God in our corner and His word to guide us can be a great comfort in these times. 

 

Today we want to give you our favorite scriptures that speak of God’s gentleness and goodness.


"Follow My teachings and learn from Me. I am gentle and do not have pride. You will have rest for your souls.”- Matthew 11:29

 

I, Paul, ask you this myself. I do it through Christ Who is so gentle and kind. Some people say that I am gentle and quiet when I am with you, but that I have no fear and that my language is strong when I am away from you. - 2 Corinthians 10:1

 

He tends his flock like a shepherd: He gathers the lambs in his arms and carries them close to  His heart; he gently leads those that have young. - Isaiah 40:11

 

Be the fruit that comes from having the Holy Spirit in our lives isL love joy, peace, not giving up, being kind, being good, and having faith...

 

A servant owned by God must not make trouble. He must be kind to everyone. He must be able to teach. He must be willing to suffer when hurt for doing googd. Be gentle when you try to teach those who aare against what you say. God may change their hearts so they will turn o the truth. Then they will know they have bene held in a trap by the devil to do what he wanted them to do. But now they are able to get out of it. - 2 Timothy 2: 24-26

 

In these uncertain times, God wants to remind us of His gentleness. Let us extend that gentleness to those around us, loved ones, enemies, and also ourselves. Be sure to reserve the same love, gentleness, and kindness you give to others, for your self. We encourage you write down positive affirmations this week to uplift and care for yourself.
