Product Safety

We use Optiphen Plus as the preservative in our products, which contains a small amount of phenoxyethanol. While phenoxyethanol is effective at preventing microbial growth and maintaining product integrity, we understand that some customers may have concerns about this ingredient. It is used in very low concentrations, well within the safety guidelines set by global health authorities, including the FDA and the EU.

Our products are free from coconut oil to accommodate individuals who may be allergic or intolerant to coconut. However, we do use other nut-derived oils such as kukui, babassu, and baobab oils, which are known for their excellent moisturizing properties. No, all our products are cruelty-free. We conduct tests with the help of volunteers from our community who have textured hair to ensure our products are safe and effective.

All our products are gluten-free, catering to those with sensitive skin and scalp conditions.

Our products are best used within 24 months of manufacture when unopened. Once opened, we recommend using them within 12 months to ensure maximum effectiveness and freshness.

Shipping & Handling

  • Domestic Orders: Shipped through USPS (United States Postal Service) with a standard delivery timeframe.
  • International Orders: Shipped via USPS, UPS, or DHL with a delivery timeframe of up to 21 days.
  • Standard Processing: Our normal processing time is 3-9 business days. Please note, during the holiday season and sales events, processing can take 10-18 business days.
  • Business Days: Our business days are Monday through Friday, excluding weekends.
  • Order Confirmation: You will receive a confirmation email upon placing your order. A shipping confirmation email will follow once your order has been dispatched.
  • Email Accuracy: Please double-check your email address at checkout to ensure you receive all necessary communications.

If a package is returned due to incorrect or incomplete shipping information provided by the customer, or if the customer was not home for delivery, the customer will be responsible for the return shipping cost as well as the redelivery cost.

We are not responsible for packages delivered incorrectly or lost due to incorrect or incomplete shipping information provided by the customer. No refunds will be provided if any parts of the address are incorrect.

We are not responsible for lost or stolen packages. If tracking shows that a package was delivered and you did not receive it, please contact USPS to file a claim.

If your package arrives and the product is damaged, please send us an email immediately with photos to info@strandsoffaith.com.

We are not responsible for packages marked as delivered by the courier but not received. Once an item is marked delivered, we can no longer file a claim on that package. Please contact the carrier with your tracking number and details for assistance.

Canada Customs requires Canadian recipients to pay applicable duties and taxes on each shipment entering Canada. These charges may include PST, GST, HST, duties, and other taxes of goods (e.g., excise tax). A brokerage fee is also charged to process shipments and present the requisite customs paperwork to Canada Customs on the importer’s behalf.

The purchaser is responsible for paying any applicable taxes or duties that may apply. We do not calculate or collect taxes or duties from you. It is the purchaser’s responsibility to check the local regulations and policies of the receiving country and abide by those. We are not responsible if the shipment is refused by customs or yourself due to regulations, taxes, or duties. If the package is seized by customs and not returned to us, we cannot issue a refund.

Returns and Refunds

We stand behind the quality of our products with a 15-day money-back guarantee. If you're not satisfied, you have 15 days from the day you receive your products to initiate a return.

  • Approval: We will review your return request and, upon approval, provide you with the shipping address and further instructions.
  • Ship the Product: Package the product securely and send it to the address provided. Note that you are responsible for return shipping costs.
  • Receive Your Refund: Once we receive and inspect the returned products, we will process your refund. The refund will be issued to the original payment method minus the initial shipping costs, as these are non-refundable.
  • Initial Shipping Costs: The cost of shipping the product to you is non-refundable, as this fee is paid directly to the shipping service.
  • Processing Time: Refunds can take up to 10 business days to appear on your statement, depending on your bank or credit card issuer.

Yes, if the product is at least three-quarters full and within 15 days of receipt, you may return it following our return guidelines.

If you receive a damaged product, please email us immediately at info@strandsoffaith.com with your order information and a photo of the damage. We will arrange for a replacement or refund.
