Seven years ago, Strands of Faith was just a mustard seed of an idea—a vision placed on my heart with no investors, no big funding, just pure faith. Today, we celebrate not just a brand anniversary but a testimony of perseverance, resilience, and unwavering trust in God’s plan.
🌱 The Humble Beginnings
Strands of Faith wasn’t born in a boardroom or backed by investors, it started in my kitchen. Pregnant with my third child, balancing a full-time job, and working late nights mixing products by hand, I had one goal in mind: to create moisture-rich products for textured hair that actually worked and to build a brand that encouraged you to keep the faith through life’s challenges.
In those early days:
- I juggled work and business, often questioning if I had the strength to keep going.
- Burned my hands making products.
- Stayed up countless nights fulfilling orders, driven by the belief that if God gave me the vision, He would make provision.
💡 The Leap of Faith
There came a moment when I knew I couldn’t do both, work a full-time job and build this business. Walking away from a stable career wasn’t easy but I knew in my spirit that it was time.
So, I took the leap. That single decision changed everything.
